Welcome to our FAQ page! Here we address the most common inquiries we receive. If we haven't addressed your inquiry, or if you have another concern, please reach out to us at firstname.lastname@example.org and we'll do our best to respond in a timely manner.
How long will it take my chocolate to arrive?
Expect it to take approximately 5 business days to arrive. Orders received after 12pm EST or on weekends will be processed the next business day. Please note, some shipping companies do not count weekends as transit or delivery days. For example, a 3-days shipment going out on a Wednesday will arrive the following Monday.
When your order has been received, you will receive an email from us with your order number and item information. When your order is processed to ship, you will receive an e-mail with your tracking number. If you need your chocolate by a specific date, please let us know in the comment box upon checkout.
How do you keep the chocolate from melting during the shipping process?
We want to ensure that our chocolate reaches you as fresh as it was when we first made it. We will provide ice packs if the origin or destination temperature of the chocolate is above 68 degrees Fahrenheit. To make sure your chocolate stays fresh, we recommend that someone is at the delivery address to accept the order when it is delivered, or shortly thereafter.
Do I have to sign for my chocolate?
We do not require a signature upon delivery, but suggest sending the chocolates to a location where someone will be available to accept the delivery or to a building with an indoor mailroom (e.g. an office or apartment building). If you are sending our chocolate as a gift to a warm location, we recommend you tell the recipient when to expect the delivery so their gift doesn’t melt on their doorstep. Morito is not responsible for missing, stolen, or damaged packages after they are delivered to your address or for orders returned or delayed due to incorrect or undeliverable addresses. We send all our orders with tracking numbers so you will be able to track the progress of your order.
What happens if I am sending my chocolate as a gift?
If you wish to send our chocolate as a gift, please let us know in the message box at checkout if you have any special delivery instructions or would like a gift message included with your order. If you are including a gift message, we will not provide a printed receipt with the order total at checkout.
Where can I purchase Morito Chocolates?
You can find our chocolate at a variety of locations around the United States. You can also order chocolate directly from our website.
Is Morito chocolate safe for people with allergies?
Our chocolate is both vegan and gluten free. Our product is not suitable for people with peanut of or tree nut allergies, however. If you are aware of any allergies, please be responsible when purchasing chocolate. You can find a detailed list of our ingredients as well as an allergen disclaimer in the description of our chocolates as well as on our packaging. That being said, we do offer two nut-free flavors, Banana Tahini and Pumpkin Seeds with Cranberry.
Can I send Morito chocolates to all my corporate clients as a gift. Can you help me?

How long does the chocolate last?
Our product can last up to 9 months after purchase. We suggest keeping it at room temperature.
What payment methods do you accept?
We accept all major credit and debit cards as well as Apple Pay, Paypal, Amazon Pay, and Google Pay.
Do you offer tours of your facility?
Since we are a small-batch company and produce our chocolate in a shared facility space, we do not offer a typical chocolate tour at the moment. Right now, we are focusing on developing our brand and maximizing the time and space to produce our chocolate. We will keep you posted once we have the space available for customers to tour.

Do you ship out of the United States?
We currently only ship within the United States and Canada.
Are all the ingredients organic and fair trade?
Yes, we want to ensure ethical labor practices in every aspect of our product. All of our cacao, sugar, and other ingredients are organic as well as responsibly and sustainably sourced.
